About Brooke

Hey you guys, I'm Brooke, and I'd love to get to know you.

To start, let me tell you a bit more about myself.

I'm a 16-year-old aspiring world changer from the incredible country of Texas. I come from a loving family of six, landing as the second-eldest. Growing up as a homeschooled girl surrounded with constant exhortation and encouragement in the faith, I have been grounded from a young age with a love for Jesus.

At the same time, it has been difficult, from time to time, to cultivate a personal relationship with God.  But, He has proven to be worthy of my following and of my love, so I decided at 9-years-old to hand my life over to Him. Has life been perfect? Absolutely not! And it won't ever be completely right until the day of our beautiful homecoming. But it is my goal to pursue Jesus with the passion and purpose He has instilled in me. Not because of anything that I am, but because of everything He is.

I am a very extroverted people person, to put it lightly. And I greatly enjoy meeting new people and forming lifelong relationships. I repeat myself a lot, and often pause mid-conversation to try and remember what I was saying. Basically, I forget things quickly and easily! If you want to be best friends, always remind me of what I was trying to say.

Chick-fil-a is my love language, along with quality time and words of encouragement.

I am a blonde at heart, but I'm super convinced that auburn will be the next stereotype for extra lovable women.

I am really afraid of Nerf bullets and rubber bands being shot at me.

Scrunchies and Birkenstocks are an obsession of mine.

I play piano, violin, and sing. But if I had to choose, I would just sing all the time.

Music means the world to me and you will find me listening to The Piano Guys, The Greatest Showman soundtrack, Lauren Daigle, Tauren Wells (all dayyy), and lots more. I love music reccomendations, so pleassse hit me up with those!

Other than that, I'm just a normal person. I love hanging out with friends watching movies. I love doing face masks and painting nails with my little sister. And I love worshipping Jesus at church.

So bear with me as I continue this adventure called blogging. I'll be praying for you, and I'd really appreciate you guy's praying for me.

Together, we can live ever higher.
